Effective Career Management within Your Organization

An employee asks a meeting with you to inquire for information on career opportunities that they may aspire to within your organization. After you have scheduled an appointment, you begin to reflect on the progress of this meeting and the questions multiply in your mind:

What career paths do we have to offer?
What is my role as a human resource specialist? What is the manager's role?
Does management want to invest resources in career development? For all employees or just for high potentials?

This conference will give us the opportunity to reflect on our role as human resources specialists in the career management of our organizational members. We will discuss the different approaches that we can put in place to help them realize their potential and aspirations while allowing the company to rely on the talent and expertise it will need in the long term.
