To open our 2014-2015 Season we will be exploring a practical and hands on approach for Talent Management.

Talent Mapping is the identification and engagement of people with skills to fill existing, newly created and future roles in the organisation.  It is a proactive and interactive approach to support corporate sustainability and further growth vs. a reactive approach such as,  contingency hiring. The process of Talent Mapping is intended to provide a forum to engage members of the organization in a meaningful dialogue to identify and develop the talent that resides within the business and to address any critical gaps in the workforce.  All successful organizations understand how important it is to ensure that there is a pool of individuals ready to assume key responsibilities.  The talent map becomes an important tool to facilitate such a process, helping identify the potential and readiness of people throughout the organization.
